1、-外研版初中英语七年级下册教案:MODULE 12 A holiday journey-第 11 页MODULE 12 TEACHING PLANContent:Module 12 A holiday journey 一、 题材内容本模块以假期旅行为话题,主要展现的是对旅行经过和参观地点进行描述的表达方式,同时出现了不规则动词的过去式。语法重点是含有不规则动词的一般过去时句子的用法。阅读课文以电子邮件的形式呈现,贴近生活,又很新颖,通过操练,使学生在掌握一些不规则动词的一般过去式的同时,既感悟语言功能,又能熟练谈论自己和他人过去的旅行生活。该话题为学生所熟知,非常有利于开展听、说、读、写方面的
2、语言实践活动。本模块的learningtolearn栏目让学生发现熟练掌握不规则动词的过去式是个不小的挑战。Around the world栏目让学生了解异域风光,提高学习兴趣。教学中教师应随时随地以课本为出发点,灵活利用各种素材组织教学过程和内容。充分调动学生的积极性。教学目标1) 语言知识:语音不规则动词的过去式的读音及一般过去式特殊疑问句中实词的重读词汇spend, hope, clock, tomorrow, gran, relax, email词组on holiday, do some shopping, buy presents, do some sightseeing, have
3、 a good time, meet at the airport, swim in the sea, take photos, write postcards语法不规则动词的一般过去式。功能谈论旅行。话题以“假期旅行”为话题。2) 语言技能:听能听懂谈论旅行经历的对话. 准确辨别理解句子中不规则动词的一般过去式说能运用包括不规则动词的一般过去式的语句谈论自己或他人的旅行 读能读懂描述旅行经历的短文,掌握整体理解技能,明白文章中所叙述的时空关系。在阅读中学会应用寻找细节的阅读策略,进行简单的阅读技能训练。写能用一般现在时和一般过去式叙述自己的经历,掌握电子邮件的书写格式。演示与表达 能向同学们
4、介绍自己的假期旅行。3)学习策略学习一定程度形成自主学习,有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力。认知联系,归纳,推测等技能。观察并记忆不规则动词的一般过去式,提高自学能力。调控从同伴处得到反馈,对自己在叙述及作文中的错误进行修改交际学习运用恰当词语简单谈论自己或他人的旅行。资源通过其他资源获取更多有关“假期旅行”的简单英语。自学策略能够运用观察、发现、归纳和实践等方法学习语言知识,感悟语言功能。能尝试通过上下文猜测词义的学习策略。合作学习策略积极参与谈论自己感兴趣的话题, 同时又要尊重对方, 给别人谈话的机会, 互相学习,取长补短,注意学习策略共享 。4)文化意识:中外对比通过课文中对洛杉矶和伦敦
5、的描述了解英美文化,从而拓展视野,激发学习英语的兴趣。5)情感态度:通过体验和分享旅行的快乐,培养对不同文化的兴趣 及热爱生活、享受生活的乐观态度。参加各种英语活动,克服困难,在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观。6)任务:能够运用不规则动词的一般过去式谈论自己或他人的旅行。教学重点和难点 重点:1掌握谈论旅行的基本词汇,读懂含有不规则动词的一般过去式的句子,掌握一些不规则动词的一般过去式用法。难点: 掌握一些不规则动词的一般过去式。教学方法基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任
6、务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,初步设计“PTP”自主学习立体模式:pre-tasktask-cyclepost-task。二、 教材处理核心任务:能够运用电子邮件形式向朋友介绍自己的假期旅行经历。三个环节如下:pre-task:学生联系生活实际,激活背景知识,。task cycle:通过整个模块的听说读写的训练,强化对“假期旅行”的表达能力,为完成任务做好铺垫post-task:达成任务,展示成果,反馈学习情况三、 教材安排根据学生学习英语的特点和规律,我们把本模块划分为4课时:Period 1: Vocabulary and Listening &Pronunciation

10、:Part I: Revision Task: Recall what we have learned in the last Module. Directions: Step one: Label the pictures with the phrases.(1). Read through the phrases in the box and have the Ss. Repeat them after you. (2).Ask them to label them in the pictures on the screen. (3).Make some sentences with th
11、e phrases. Ask students to speak out as many as they can.(4). Have a competition speaking out the words. Ask students to speak out as many as they can. Step two: Talk about the life of a national heroAsk students to speak out as many as they can. Eg.What did you think of the film?When did he work on
12、 it?Where did the railway start?Where did it finish?When did he die? etc. Part II: Lead in: Task 1: Introduce to them the new mords.Directions:Step one: Introduce the new words of this unit. And list them on the board.Step two: Read after the teacher.Step three: Practise reading the words.Step four:
13、 Ask the students to look at the pictures. Elicit what they can see. If there are any new words, add them to the list on the board.Step five: Make some sentences using the new words from the whole class. Task 2: Introduce to them the past simple irregular words.Directions:Step one. Explain to the Ss
14、 that although there are many common verbs in English which have the regular past simple form( elicit some example: work, walk, talk, play), many of the most frequently used verbs are irregular. Step two: Tell them that this mean that they have to learn them individually , because they are all diffe
15、rent. Step three: Put up some of the common verbs, as follows: be -was/ were do -did eat- ate go-went have- had leave- left make- made meet- met see-saw spend -spent swim - swam take - took and so on.Step four: Read them through, and have the Ss. repeat them after you, chorally and individually. 16、k 3: Find these places on the map Directions:Step one. Read out the names of the places and have the students repeat them after you. Step two: Ask the students to find these places on the mapStep three: Talk about the map using the phrases such as “on the coast”, and “ north/ east/ west/ south/ nort

Directions:Step one: Play the recording and have them listen to the recording and focus on the route in their books.Step two: Play the recording again for them to check wi

Then Call back the answer from the whole class.2.Task: To listen and understand conversations .Directions:Step one: The teacher says: Today were going to listen to a conversation between Tony and Lingling and Betty. Theyre talking

Listen and answer the questions in activity 4 on page 75:Step two: Play the recording and have them listen.Step three: Play the recording again and have them write the answer individually.Step four:.
