Today, I feel honored to have the chance to share my ideas about how to teach reading.In the reading process, I will focus on students long -term development and enable them to use proper reading s
2、kills and strategies. In other words, students are guided to read efficiently and independently.My teaching plan will include 6 sections. Theyre analysis of the teaching material , analysis of the students, identifying the teaching aims and teaching procedures , and finally showing blackboard design
3、 Section 1 Analysis of the teaching material Status and content:The reading is the center of this unit, in which we will learn some expressions , reading skills and noun clause as the subject. Teaching keys: 1. Improve the students reading skills. 2. Enable the students to learn about the developmen
4、t of life. Teaching difficulty: The process of the development of life. Section 2 Analysis of the students 1. 5、lesson and learnt new words, so that during teaching, we have no new words. Section 3 Identifying the teaching aimsBased on the analysis of the teaching material, I have chosen the following as the teaching aims of my lesson:Knowledge aim: Students are familiar with various expression and have a goo
6、d command of the development of the life.Ability aim: Students can figure out the implied meaning while reading and listening .Emotion aim: Students realize the importance of the protecting our environment and loving our earth and life.Section 4 Teaching methods In order to achieve the teaching aims
7、 mentioned above, I decide to choose guided reading and Task-Based Teaching as the main teaching approach. 13、e is not always stated directly. Sometimes students have to infer, or make guesses according the information which is available in the reading. So in this part, the students are asked to infer the implied meaning, distinguish meaning from the supporting details and understand how the text is organiz
14、ed. The part consists of three tasks. Task 1 : chose some students to read the paragraph, others listening carefully . I show some pictures to help students understand the material.
