1、Module 5 Unit 1 Its big and light.教学设计丰泽区实验小学 潘茹梅教学目标分析语言知识与语言技能目标:1.能听懂、会说、会读单词“heavy,light,broken,pocket,wheel”。2.能听懂、会说句子:Its big and light. Its got two pockets. It will be easy for me.3.能正确使用Its big and light. Its got two pockets.这类语句描述事物的特征。学习策略目标:培养学生能在一定程度上主动参与教学活动,能够比较自觉地学习英语、运用英语,并在一定程度上形成有
2、效交际、信息处理和英语思维的能力。情感态度目标:让学生有兴趣用英语表达,能积极参与课堂活动,以及培养学生用英语描述事物特征的基本技能。教学重点、难点分析基于英语课程标准的要求和本班学生的学习实际情况,制定如下重难点。教学重点:1.学会单词“heavy,light,broken,pocket,wheel”.2.句子:Its big and light. Its got two pockets. Itll be easy for me.教学难点:运用英语描述事物的特征四、教学过程设计一、warm-up(活动热身)1.Greetings.2. Say a chant and do the actio

4、light, light. 在chant 的学习中,学会两个生词:heavy,light.出示课件:让学生理解heavy ,light的意思。然后出示两个书包:让学生亲身体验并用Its heavy. Its light.进行描述。最后,让学生说出身边比较重、比较轻的物体,在真实的语境中运用语言,如:The bag/desk is heavy, the pen/pencil is light.二、Lead-in(情景导入)1.Task: May Day is coming. Im going to visit Beijing. But my bag is broken. Can you help
5、 me to choose a new bag? 导入本课重点词汇broken ,进而用课件帮助学生理解broken的含义。学生运用单词broken,出示课件创设多个语境让学生在不同的语境中巩固运用词汇。(1、破了的鞋 2、撞坏的车 3、打破的鸡蛋)2.利用课件出示几款包,告诉学生来帮助老师选择一款合式的包。三、Presentation(新知呈现):1. 看图介绍课文。(课件显示课文图片)Free talk: Linglings bag is broken, too. How do Ms smart and Lingling buy the bag? Lets go and see. Then
6、 complete our task.2. Listen to the text then answer the following questions.(听第一遍课文录音,并回答以下问题)1) Whats wrong with the Linglings bag?2) How many bags did they see? 3) How is the black bag? How is the green bag?4) Which bag did they buy? Why?3Listen again, solve the answers.(听第二遍录音,解决问题)4解决问题过程中随文学习新
7、词汇:(1)学习新词 “pocket”自然拼读法教授pocket.并进行操练。 I have got two pockets. How many pockets have you got? 指着学生的衣服口袋问,学生运用句型:I have gotpockets. 进行回答。(2)学习新词 “wheel”自然拼读法教授wheel。Look, the blue bag has got four wheels. Itll be easy for Lingling.事先准备一个带有轮子的书包,学生上台亲身实践,并说出Itll be easy for me. 课件呈现图片,最后让学生结合自己的生活经验说
8、出带轮子的物体,运用语言: has got two/four wheels. 5.Listen and repeat(听音模仿跟读课文).6. Read and fill in the blanks. (认真读课文,完成下列句子):(1)The black bag is_, its big , But its _ .(2)The green one is_. And its got two _. But its _ .(3)The blue one is_ and _.7. Act the text in groups. Then show.8. Group show .(小组分角色表演课文)
9、 四、Practice(游戏操练巩固)。1.听描述,猜物品。利用课本活动四提供的图片来开展活动。首先教师示范描述,学生猜出是哪一幅图。然后请学生同桌互相描述互相猜。2.男女生比赛:一分钟之内比赛描述和竞猜物品。利用课前收集的物品,全班分成男生和女生进行比赛。男生或女生轮流抢描述其中的一样物品,然后让其他的男生和女生猜出并用英语说出物品名称。一分钟时间,哪一方能猜出更多物品,哪方就是胜者。3.小组活动:课件出示学生熟悉的卡通人物或动物,让学生运用句型“Its . Its got . ”进行描述他们的特征。五、Complete the task(任务完成):课件出示各种各样的箱包。根据要求帮老师选包。小提示:(You can use the sentences)This_ bag is _.Its got_ _. Itll be_ for you. 六、Summary(小结):Today we have learnt how to choose a bag. Can you say something about your bag?Introduce your bag and show.七、Homework(作业布置):1.Read the text.(朗读课文)2.
