4、ing guidance on learning senior english1. learn about their common difficulties in english studies during the junior middle school.e.g.about learning english, what do you think is the most difficult, remembering words and expressions, learning grammar or writing compositions?2. to offer guidance and

5、 suggested ways in learning high school english and help the ss to get used to high school english.t:when learning senior english, you should make some changes in your attitude and studying ways. for example, you should be more positive and active and not just be led by the nose.1) about remembering

6、 vocabulary: habit and plan(习惯和计划), phonetics(语音), word-formation(构词法), group classification(组块分类), imagination(联想), reading(阅读),dictionary.2) about grammar: you can never avoid grammar in high school. hold confidence in yourself and the teacher.3) about english learning: listening, speaking,reading

7、and writing are all important. (listening 30, multiple choices 15, cloze test 30, reading comprehension 40, reading expression 10, writing 25)attention:reading and vocabulary come first.you can go over your learned knowledge by reading, such as important words, phrases and expressions and sentence p

8、atterns. also, you can enlarge your vocabulary and improve your writing through reading materials.step 3: making requirements in later studies.1) about notebooks: you need three or four notebooks for notes in class, important vocabulary and sentences, your mistakes and composition-collecting.2) make

9、 good plans for remembering words and make good use of usable time.3) reading regularly and gather useful information through materials.4) emphasize the importance of team work / spirit (dictation, reciting, discussion and acting).5) hold a positive and active attitude towards studies.step 4: give e
