1、1Good morning,dear judges.I am Contestant No.2.Today I am very happy to stand here,andI think it is a good opportunity to share some of my teaching ideas with you.My topic today is ModuleUnit.It is listening and speaking./reading.It is from studentsbook.I will divide my presentation into six parts.W
2、ell,firstly I want to talk about the teaching material.The topic of this module is.Listening:The students will develop their listening and speaking skills through variousactivities which is in an important position.It will help to prepare the Ss for the next unit.Reading and writing:This unit is ver
3、y important.If the Ss can get through all of the unit,itwill be helpful for them.Next,what I would like to talk about is to analysis of the students of Grade.Junior English learning is the most important period from the inductive stage to that ofrational thinking.Most of Junior One students are stil
4、l in the habit of reciting their learnt English,which was built at primary school level.This is especially important as they still have a strongenthusiasm to practice their prior knowledge,but they dont have the right way to learn English.Junior one,therefore,can be seen as the fundamental time for
5、students to develop a good habitfor both how to be and how to learn.Junior Two can be referred to as the transition period of students learning attitude.Here,the teachers need to develop and consolidate a good English learning environment,so that thestudents can continue to establish good habits.Thi
6、s will be evident when we see the studentsdifference in knowledge and interest.They will be able to create links between what they havelearned with their surroundings.As they are still at a young age,their receptive skills are alert,so they can both obtain and retain the English material more easily
7、,while practicing it on a dailybasis through engaging activities.The key simply is for the teachers to maintain the studentsgood habits.For Junior Three students,most of them have clear learning goals.At this stage,theteachers need to pay more attention on teaching students to summarize materials th
8、at theylearned.They need to prepare and to practice more on the more difficult aspects.They mustensure to help the students improve while consolidating the elementary knowledge with the newmaterial.This repetition of such prior knowledge is essential for them to maintain their progressAccording to a
9、ll the characteristics of the students above I will use the following teachingmethods:1.Task-based teaching methods2.Audio-visual teaching method3.Classified teaching methodAs we all know:the main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is tocultivate students abilities of listen
10、ing,speaking,reading,writing and their good sense of theEnglish language.So in this unit Ill mainly use the 3 teaching methods.That is to say,Ill letthe students get a better understanding of the key structures in series of real contexts,give thestudents some tasks and arrange some kinds of activiti
11、es,like talking,watching CAI(computeraided instruction),and pair work.I hope to combine the language structures with the languagefunctions so as to let the students receive some character training while they are learning theEnglish language.Next,lets move on to Part 4 teaching goals1.Language knowle
