1、Period Discovering Useful Structure课时内容Improve and draft主题语境:人与自我主题群:生活与学习子主题:学校生活语篇类型:文本、问题文本分析：本节课设计了三个活动，第一部分发现问题：搞清楚名词性短语、形容词性短语和副词性短语的定义，并能在句子中找到它们，第二部分为一些和高中生活有关的问题，第三部分为学生描写啦啦队面试的初稿，让学生将初稿中的普通词汇改写成相应的短语。学生通过这几个练习，能够在语境中呈现、学习、应用语言表达功能，提高语言使用的得体性，实现语言的语用功能。课时目标1.在谈论校园生活的语境中学习名词性短语、形容词性短语和副词性短语的

2、用法。2.提高语法的实践运用能力。重点难点重点:对名词性短语、形容词性短语和副词性短语的理解。难点:使用名词性短语、形容词性短语和副词性短语修改写作。教学准备教师准备:名词性短语、形容词性短语和副词性短语的相关练习。学生准备:预习名词性短语、形容词性短语和副词性短语的用法。教学过程。Step I学习理解活动一:识别三大短语(SB,P16,Part1)1. Understand the definition of the Noun Phrase, Adjective Phrase and Adverb Phrase. Ask students to read the six sentences

3、and translate them into Chinese.2. Recognize the Noun Phrase, Adjective Phrase and Adverb Phrase. Ask students to work in groups and discuss what the Noun Phrase, Adjective Phrase and Adverb Phrase are in each sentence.【设计意图】通过翻译句子，讨论三大短语，教师适当讲解，学生初步认识名词性短语、形容词性短语和副词性短语活动二：理解三大短语的用法(SB，P16，Part2)1.

4、Read the questions and understand the meaning.2. Work in pairs to ask the questions and answer the questions by using the phrases given in the brackets.3. Take turns to ask the questions and Ss can answer the questions with their own phrases.【设计意图】通过互相提问，用所给短语回答问题，再用自己的短语来回答问题，让学生在和本单元话题相关的语境中加深对三大类
