Good to know.1. 准备活动教师先请学生谈论自己知道的人们在圣诞节的活动,如:说什么(say)、做什么(do)、吃什么(eat)。2. 学习短文(1) 教师说:Different countries celebrate Christmas in different ways. Now, lets try

2、 to know how people celebrate Christmas in Australia and Canada.(2) 学生听两遍短文录音,对比两个国家的不同。weatheractivitiesin Australiain Canada(3) 教师出示世界地图并询问学生:Why do the two countries have different weather? 学生在教师提示或帮助下回答:Australia is in the southern hemisphere. Canada is in the northern hemisphere. Its hot in Aus

3、tralia while its cold in Canada.(4) 教师播放第三遍录音,请学生跟读,然后模仿朗读。B. Lets make.1. 教师请学生看本项的制作范例,然后结对展开讨论。2. 学生结对或以小组为单位,回顾自己之前制定的寒假计划,然后模仿范例,以图文结合的形式制作自己的寒假计划表。C. Lets sing.1. 热身活动教师询问学生:Which holiday is in winter? 引导学生回答:Christmas, New Year, Spring Festival, Valentines Day。2. 学习歌曲(1) 教师播放C项中的歌曲,请学生欣赏。(2) 教师询问:Which holidays are mentioned in the song? 学生回答:Christmas and New Year。(3) 教师再次播放录音,学生学唱歌曲。Tip:教师提供多首关于圣诞节的歌曲请学生欣赏,如:Silent Night, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Christmas Tree, Jingle Bells, When Christmas Comes to Town 等。学生根据自己的喜爱在课后学习其中一首。2
