19、ced/ had a strong influence on,influenced to make,influence, affect这两个词的共同意思是“影响”。其区别是：1. affect着重指一时的“影响”; 而influence则往往指对行为、性格、观点等较长时间的、潜移默化的“影响”。2. 表示不良影响时只能用affect, 不能用influence。,fail v. 失败；未能(做到)；不及格fail in sth. 表示“在某方面失败”。e.g. I failed in everything I tried. 我所有的尝试都失败了。 fail to do sth.表示“未能做到某
