5、efore class in groups. (P125) 1. The Ss read the new words alone and mark the difficult words. 2. The Ss read the difficult words according to their phonetic symbols and deal with the pronunciation problems in groups of 4.3. Each student read the new words to the group leader, the others listen. Any
6、 student can correct the pronunciation mistakes. Ask the Ss: Who l
8、ikes reading? Have the Ss raise their hands. Talk about different activities in this way and check out the most popular and the least popular activity. Get the Ss to talk about the importance of taking exercise.T: Now, lets learn some words and phrases about peoples daily activities.【设计意图】通过做调查了解并走进
9、学生的生活,然后以学生感兴趣的活动为主题让学生展开讨论,以此引出本单元的单词和短语。同时向学生强调锻炼身体的必要性。Step 3: Check the pronunciation of the words of Unit 6. 1. Get No.3 of each group to read the new words to the class, the others listen. Any student can stand up to correct some pronunciation mistakes. If necessary, the teacher can offer help
10、.2. Play the tape for the Ss to listen and correct their pronunciations.3. Get the students to read the words by reading like a poem. Eg: guitar, guitar, guitar, G-U-I-T-A-R,guitar!4. Ask No.4 to read in front of the class. Make sure most students can read the words correctly. 【设计意图】学生课前自主预习,合作探究后已经
