Show some groups of pictures and have students talk about them like this. T: Whose blouse is

Step 2 Pairwork (About 6 minutes)First, have students look at the picture in 4c and say what they can see i

Then guess who the owner of the room is and his/her hobbies.Have two students read the sample conversation and tell them to infer the owners of the room using “must”, “might”, “could”, and “cant”, and say the reason.Ask students discuss their ideas with their partners and make their o
9、wn conversations. Make sure they can make inferences using “must”, “might”, “could” and “cant” correctly. As students work, move around the classroom offering help as needed. They heard strange noise at night, but didnt know what it was. Different people made different inferences. Next, please read the passage and make your inference. Pre
11、-readingHave students look at the picture and answer the questions.What is the woman in the picture doing? How did she feel? Why?Have some students try to answer the questions.While-reading:First, have students read the passage quickly and check the sentences “T” (for true) or “F” (for false) accord
