With the backdrop of economic globalization and with the progress of the economy of China, everyone has paid more and more
4、attention to Business English. In the case of frequent contact with customers around the world in the field of trade, it is impossible to rely solely on ordinary English, so Business English emerges as the times require. Business English disciplines have been provided by many celebrated universities
5、 around the world. As far as we all know that Business English has fascinated more and more peoples attention. In order to reflect the importance of Business English in the context of globalization, this paper studies the advantages and characteristics of Business English in business activities such
6、 as negotiation and international trade. This paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter introduces the characteristics of Business English in the current social situation from three aspects: stylistic style, linguistic characteristics and cultural consciousness. The second chapter describes
7、 the advantages of Business English in many aspects, such as business etiquette, business negotiation and cultural exchanges. The third chapter lists the internal and external disadvantages of Business English as well as coping strategy. Chapter four illustrates the progress prospects and employment
8、 direction of Business English through examples. The last chapter summarizes this article. We should understand present events, advance with the times, strive to learn Business English knowledge, motivate learning interest, and improve learning skill. Only by fully understanding the characteristics

10、stic advantage disadvantage importance摘 要英语是世界上的一种通用语言。在当今经济全球化的背景下,商务英语越来越受到人们的关注。在贸易领域与世界各地客户频繁接触的情况下,单纯依靠普通英语是不可能的,因此商务英语应运而生。许多世界各地的知名大学都开设了商务英语这门课程,可见商务英语已经引起了世界的广泛关注。为了体现商务英语在全球化背景下的重要性,这篇论文对商务英语在谈判以及国际贸易等商务活动中的优势与特点两大方面进行了研究。这篇论文包含了四个章节。第一章主要从商务英语的文体风格、文化意识以及语言特色三个方面介绍了当今社会形势下商务英语的特点。第二章阐述了商务
