3、lization has promoted the rapid development of business English, but also puts forward higher requirements for business English. Language depends on certain social, historical and cultural factors. Cultural differences between China and Western Countries will have an important impact on business Eng

The analysis of cultural differences between China and Western Countries are contributed to the translators to enhance the fluency of business English translation.On the basis of comparing the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, this paper explores the differences in

5、geographical environment, historical culture, religious beliefs and thinking expression between China and Western Countries, this paper aims to reflect the impact of cultural differences on business English translation and strategies. This paper also proposes strategies to deal with the influences o

6、f cultural differences between China and Western Countries, aiming at improve the accuracy of business English translation, and strengthening business exchanges and cooperation between China and western countries. 12、lobalization, the competition in the world market is becoming increasingly fierce, and the role of business English translation is becoming more and more important. During the past 40 years of reform and opening up, China has become one of the largest developing countries in the world, with the rapi

13、d development of economy and society, Chinese foreign trade has developed rapidly. Owing to cultural differences, cultural differences between China and Western countries bring out friction and collision. Therefore, how to translate the terms used in business communication accurately and smoothly is

14、 particularly important. The choice of translation strategies has become the core work in translation, and the differences in customs and cultural expressions also have different impacts on business English translation. Business English translation requires not only professional accuracy, but also t

15、he understanding of different cultural practices, the purpose is to enhance business cooperation smoothly. Under this circumstance, the purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of customs, cultural expressions and business trade on business English translation in the cultural differences be

16、tween China and Western Countries. Through this study, on the one hand, readers can have a profound comprehend of the discrepancy between Chinese and Western cultures. on the other hand, the readers can also promote the mutual reference of China and Western cultures and improve the translation level

17、 of the translator.1.2 Literature ReviewWhen analyzing the cultural differences between Chinese and English business English, Shen Yang holds that though English translation is only one of the communication languages, due to the influence of cultural differences between China and Western Countries,

18、a qualified business English translator must have a spy for cultural differences and be familiar with various cultures. The author intends to make an in-depth analysis of the impact of cultural differences between China and Western countries on business English translation and how to deal with cultu

19、ral differences in business English translation. (Sheng Yang, 2005.5). In exploring the impact of cultural differences between China and Western Countries on business English translation, Li Yun elaborated the characteristics of business English translation and analyzed the specific manifestations o

20、f cultural differences between China and Western Countries on business English translation. In order to improve the accuracy of business English translation, this paper puts forward some strategies to deal with the influence of cultural differences between China and Western Countries on business Eng

21、lish translation. Promote business exchanges and cooperation between China and Western Countries. (Li Yun, 2014. 9: 161). Miao Kun believes that business English is an important communication tool in transnational business negotiation in the influence of cultural differences between China and Wester

22、n Countries on business English translation. To do a good job in business English translation, the translators must first overcome the influence and obstacles brought by Chinese and Western cultures. Therefore, the translators need to be culturally inclusive. It also takes the accurate transmission

23、of information as the basic starting point to choose the translation strategies reasonably. (Miao Kun. 2015. 11: 142). Ping Lifang, thinks that Business English translation is a kind of cross-cultural interlingua communication. This paper aims at analyzing the differences in animals, colors and numb

24、ers to illustrate the influence of cultural differences between China and Western Countries on business English translation, and argues that in order to improve the accuracy of business English translation, attention must be paid to cultivat the translators cultural sensitivity. On the basis of cult

25、ural differences, business English communication failures are minimized in order to achieve maximum benefits. (Ping Lifang. 2010. 12: 187). In the book of intercultural linguistics, Wei Xiaojing holds that Chinas foreign exchanges have been strengthened. Faced with different cultural background grou

26、ps, the ideas expressed are also quite different. How to translate the real meaning of the speaker into English and enable people from foreign cultures to understand the meaning is an important issue for business English translators in their translators work. The author introduces the strategy of tr

27、anslating cultural elements and looks forward to the future development of business English and provides help for business English translation. (Wei Xiaojing, 2017. 1: 118) Jia Yueming, Chinas foreign trade is gradually increasing holds that with the development of economy, which promotes the develo

28、pment of business English based on the differences between Chinese and Western cultures. Therefore, business English translation is affected to a certain extent in the process of language conversion. In order to improve the competitiveness of translation and make translations conform to the characte

29、ristics of social functions of language. In summary, though the translation of Chinese and Western cultural differences have come true many achievements. However, because of the long history of Chinese and Western cultures, the research space is still very broad. Thus, this paper studies business En

30、glish translation from the perspective of cultural differences between China and the West and analyses the influence and strategies of cultural differences between China and the West on business English translation.1.3 Organization of PaperThis paper analyses business English translation and its tra

31、nslation strategies from the perspective of cultural differences between China and Western countries. Due to the cultural differences caused by the differences in history, geographical environment and customs between China and Western Countries, with the development of economy and science technology

32、, the communication between the two cultures is becoming closer and closer. Therefore, it is imperative to eliminate cultural brothers. This thesis is divided into five parts, and studies the differences between China and Western Countries. The first part is the introduction of this article; this th

33、esis mainly expounds the background and meaning of this study. Secondly part set forth the differences in the geographical environment between Chinese and Western cultures. Also have history, religion and habits of thinking. Thirdly part mainly discusses the effect of these customs and thinking diff

34、erences on business English translation. The fourth part reflects the effects of cultural differences between China and Western countries on business English translation from the viewpoint of translation strategies. Finally, the author summarizes some understandings in the study of cultural differen

35、ces between China and Western countries and puts forward some suggestions in view of the problems arising from cultural differences between China and Western Countries.II The Cultural Difference Between China and Western CountriesCulture is the product of human society. In the process of its formati

36、on, different geographical environments and climate differences bring about different manifestations. In this chapter, the author will illustrate the cultural difference between China and Western countries, including the difference in Geographical Environment, Historical Culture, Religious Belief an

37、d Cognitive Thinking as follows.2.1 The Difference in Geographical EnvironmentThe difference in geographical environment has an important influence on culture. Take the simplest climate change as an example. Since ancient times, China has praised the eastern wind, because it brings warmth and can ma

38、ke plants germinate, like spring wind, when the eastern wind comes, spring will come. It is believed that the western wind brings bitter cold wind, sadness, desolation and even the meaning of destruction. On the contrary, western countries praise and rejoice in the western wind. Take Shelleys eulogy

39、 of the West Wind as an example. This poem begins with a story about the existence of the western wind, the withered leaves fleeing everywhere, and uses personification rhetoric to compare the western wind to a wizard, eulogizing the great western wind. Of course, geographic differences bring about

40、more than climate. Take the concept of Chinese and Western culture as an example, Zhong mainly refers to the Chinese civilization developed from the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River basin as the axis. It is called Chinese culture. West mainly refers to the ancient G

41、reek civilization, the ancient Roman civilization and the ancient Egyptian civilization, which rise with the love sea and the Mediterranean as the center. In this sense, the translators can see the rise of culture. The origin of culture depends on geographical environment. Because the land in the We

42、st is not fertile, it is not suitable for farming. But because there are many rivers and seas in the West, such as the Mediterranean Inland Sea, which cannot develop farming, it can be used as a shipping route to connect many surrounding countries. So as long as there are boats, it is very convenien

43、t to communicate with each other, and it can carry out maritime trade and commerce is relatively developed. Therefore, commercial culture is also relatively rich. Yangtze River Basin and the Yellow River Basin have more plain in China. There is only one facing the sea, which is suitable for the deve

44、lopment of farming economy. Therefore, the farming economy is relatively developed. Agricultural culture is more adequate.2.2 The Difference in Historical Culture Different ethnic groups have different development histories. So the historical culture is also different. In the translation of business

45、 English, the difference of historical and culture often brings many difficulties to translators. Take historical allusions as an example, to translate historical allusions accurately in business English, translators are required to have a thorough understanding of the historical and cultural connot

46、ations of different nationalities. There are many historical allusions in Chinese. Historical allusions such as “名落孙山”, “东施效颦”, are related to historical events, but the Westerners may not necessarily understand these historical allusions. Therefore, in the transmission of this information, it is ne

47、cessary to understand the connotation of allusions and convey the connotation, that is, to achieve the combination of free translation and literal translation. Western allusions are mostly derived from the Bible, in which the expression Love is blind is a very typical case. This phrase is the nickna

48、me of Eros, the God of love in ancient Greece. It corresponds to beauty in the eyes of lover in Chinese. Both phrases contain strong historical culture. 2.3 The Difference in Religious BeliefReligious beliefs have an important impact on different nationalities, and some vocabularies have specific connotations in specific religious environments. For example, heaven and
