My topic is Unit 2 Topic 1 “I have a small nose.” and I am ready to say Section A from six parts.Part One Analysis of Teaching Material 一. Status and Function Section A is the
2、 first period of Topic 1. The main activities are 1a and 3a. In this Section, We will learn some words about physical characteristics, such as nose, eye, ear, hair, head and so on and some adjectives to describe humans physical characteristics. We will also learn how to use “have/has” to make senten
3、ces.二. Teaching aims According to the New English Curriculum Criterion, teaching material and my students, my teaching aims contain the following.1. Knowledge aims (1) To enable the students master the new words: nose, eye, big, small and so on. (2) To enable the students use “have/has” to make sent
4、ences. “I/ We/ They have She/ He /It has (3) To enable the students use auxiliary verb “do/does” to ask humans physical characteristic. “Do you/they have? Does he/ she has?”2. Ability aims(1) Mainly train the students abilities of listening, reading and speaking.(2) To develop the students abilities

Part Two Analysis of StudentsThe students of my two classes are not very active. Some of them are very shy. Even thou
7、gh they can express their own ideas with simple oral English, they are afraid of taking part in class activities. So I will try my best to provide a relaxing English learning surrounding for the students and Encourage the students to take active part in class activities. Part Three Teaching Methods
8、and Aids 一. Teaching Methods In this lesson, Ill mainly use three kinds of teaching methods: communicative teaching method, task-based teaching method and total physical response teaching method. Be sure to make the students the real masters in class and the teacher myself as the director. 二. Teachi
9、ng AidsIn this lesson, Ill use a Multi-media computer, tape, school things and so on. I think its necessary for teachers to use modern teaching facilities. Its of great help to improve our teaching result. It can also make the students reach a better understanding of the text by making the classes l
10、ively and interesting. At the same time, it arouses the students interests in learning English. Part Four Learning strategiesTeach students how to be successful language learners.Let the students study language from Imitation to Practice.Teach students how to describe humans physical characteristics
