4、he side seam.04 Drape the first pleat:Lift the muslin and bring the fullness into the waist.The location of pleat is about 2.5 cm from center front.The total width of pleat is about 8 cm.Notice:Dont pull the side muslin too tight.05 Drape the second pleat with the same method.The distance between tw

5、o pleats is about 1.3 cm.06 Drape the third pleat at the waist with same distance.Adjust the right side seam.Trim away excess muslin.07 Drape the 4th pleat.Slash and pin joinng point 2.5 cm from the last pleat.Pin the side waist point.Trim and shape the skirt hemline.08 The amount of muslin for drap

6、ed part at waist is about 20 25 cm from joining point.09 Check and adjust the pleats and hemline.Mark the side seam,waistline and pleats.10 Remove skirt drape.Ture waistline.Trace waistline to pleat underlay.11 Remove pins，Ture pleats,waistline,side seam,hemline.12 Add seam allowance,trim away excess muslin。Pin finished skirt drape on dress form.Check the balance of the skirt.Check if the skirt has correct amount of ease.Check if the pleats look comfortable,even and nature.Fitting and Correction
