2、中的桥梁。是符合本专业培养方案中制定的培养目标的一门课程。（二）课程目标1. To have a general understanding the cultural achivements and features in China and in the West by focusing on some special aspects, including religion, philosophy, mythology, language, literature, architecture, art, sciene and technology, etc.; to grasp and app

3、reciate them from a comparative perspective.2. To comprehend the relavent English articles through close reading, extensive reading and doing exercises.3. To grasp the special vocabulary and expressions with cultural connotations, to enlarge vocabulary and thus to increase the English langauge profi

4、ciency.4. To apply what is learned in class into the cultural communications with foreigners, to accept other perspectives and perceptions of the world, to mediate between different perspectives, to be conscious of their evaluations of difference.二、课程目标达成的途径与方法课堂教学：教师按照教学计划授课课堂讨论：可参照教材texts后的问题进行讨论，
