Reading plays an important part in the process of learning English. They need to learn more reading methods to get higher sc
2、ores in exams (the recent goal), and also to do reading for their whole life (the long-range goal). Most of the students cant find the main clue about the materials during reading and some of them dont know how to read a passage within limited time. So in this class, we will foster the students to f
3、orm the consciousness of finding the topic sentence and key words from the reading materials to make the passage clearer, to speak something to show his/her choices about the passages. The students will use the reading materials not only for reading but also for speaking, enlarging their vocabulary
4、and so on. Besides the language skills, learning skills, cultural quality and thinking quality are also important in English learning.教材分析This is a period for reading. The content of the reading is an ad for selling clothes in a clothes store, which enriches the context of the target language in thi
5、s unit. Criteria for English Course in High School has pointed out there are five basic skills in English learning, such as listening, speaking, reading, writing and viewing. Among these five skills, reading is an input process, as well as the listening skill and viewing skill. In this class, well f
6、ocus on reading. Before reading, the teacher will guide students to recall the words related to clothing items in Section A, and students will have a prediction for the reading part. In Section 2b, students will skim for the main idea for the first time and scan for the price information for the sec
7、ond time, which will improve the ability for grasping the key information. In Section 2c, there is a conversation referring to shopping which is an extension of the advertisement context in 2b.
