3、日常生活的一部分。Talking is easier than doing.(状态) 说起来简单做起来难。一、动名词作主语的几种状况 1.动名词干脆置于句首。Working in the conditions is not a pleasure but a pain. 在这样的条件下工作不是一件开心的事而是一件苦痛的事。2.v.-ing形式作主语,有时可以后置,用it作形式主语。It is no use crying over spilt milk.覆水难收。It is a waste of time persuading such a person to join us. 劝告这样的人加入我

4、们真是奢侈时间。3.There be 结构中作主语。There is no saying when hell come. 很难说他何时回来。There is no telling how many miles you will have to run while chasing a dream. 在追逐幻想的过程中,你不知道要跑多少英里。4.动名词的复合结构作主语。当动名词有自己的逻辑主语时,常可以在前面加上全部格名词或物主代词,构成动名词的复合结构。动名词的复合结构也可以在句中作主语。如: Their coming to help was a great encouragement to u

5、s. 他们的到来及赐予帮助,对我们来说是很大的鼓舞。二、动名词作主语,谓语动词的形式 动名词(短语)作主语,谓语动词用单数形式。Watching TV too much is bad for your eyes. 看电视太多对你的眼睛有害处。Making noise in class is impolite. 在课堂上制造噪音是不礼貌的。三、动名词作主语与动词不定式作主语的区分 动词不定式和动名词都可以用作主语,在意义上相近,但动名词多用来表示泛指或抽象动作,不定式多用来表示特指或详细动作。动名词表示已知的事情或阅历,不定式通常表示未完成的事情或未达成的目的。Smoking is not go
