13、so muchNot cut downNot use too muchSave and reuseSavePaper bagsGlass bottles说课本课生词较多，且不好理解。所以我把几个较难理解的物质类名词拟人化为 五个朋友，拉近和学生之间的距离，使他们对其产生兴趣。在导入阶段我把这五 个朋友做成一首歌，不仅活跃了课堂气氛，而且让学生通过哼唱对这几个单词有 初步的概念，为接下来的学习做铺垫。学习完生词后，让学生通过谈论几种物质 的用处来学会使用useto句型。通过观看地球的信的视频自然引出本单元 课题 Protect the earth o在课文学习中，首先通过让学生对课题提问让他们学

14、会带着问题进行阅读。 对学生提出的问题进行梳理，提炼出what, why和how三个贯穿全文的问题。首 先让学生速读课文，找出问题What should we do?的答案。接着指导学生细读第 一局部，关注细节。通过任务让学生了解本段主要内容，同时引导他们关注如何 提出建议和陈述原因。在阅读中，注意对学生的读法指导。在本段中，我设置任 务引导学生通过上下文猜出生词的意思。通过第一段的学习，学生对文章结构有 了初步的了解，知道该从哪些方面去寻找信息，所以可以适当放手，让他们尝试 自主阅读，然后通过判断来验证自己的阅读结果。到了三、四两段，学生已经完 全拥有自读的能力，所以我让学生自己阅读并完成一个报告。然后让他们依次汇 报，完成表格。通过这样一个信息差的活动，锻炼学生的听说能力。在读后阶段，我制作了一个苏州的视频，让学生通过观看视频找出生活中不太 环保的行为，用目标语言提出建议，使他们学会把目标语言运用到日常生活中。
