In this part, we will investigate why na
5、tions trade, what they trade, and who gains from trade. We will then analyze the motives for countries or organizations to restrict or regulate international trade and study the effects of such policies on economic welfare. Part II: international finance. In this part, we will cover the following to
6、pics: national income accounting and balance of payments,foreign exchange market; exchange rates and inflation; several theories about the determination of the exchange rate and international macroeconomics policy. Among the overall lecture we will relate the theory with Chineses economy background.
7、(2) Course ObjectiveThe course objectives of International Economics are to gain the main theories of international trade and international finance; to obtain the ability to analyze the trade theory and its policy, especially Chinese economic issues, using open economic tools; to catch up the latest
8、 development of international economics.The teaching objectives of the course are to master the basic concepts, theoretical foundations, and modern analytical tools of international economics. So students could correctly analyze and understand the development and operation of the world economy with
9、the ideological concepts and values of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and correctly understand and understand the 40 years of economic development and great achievements since the beginning of Chinas reform. Help students to have a correct understanding of Chinas integration and status chan
