8、nd of the street.在这条街的尽头有一家服装店。区别：in the end意为“最后、终于，相当于finally, at last。例如:Xiao Ming passed the exam in the end.最后小明通过 了那次考试。by the end of意为到末”，后边跟不同的时间会有不同的含义和用法: 跟将来的时间，就用一般将来时。例如：By the end of next month, I will finish reading this book.到下个月末，我将读完这本书。跟过去的时间，用过去完成时。到上个月末，我已经种了数千棵树了。4.
