The time-keeping system must accurately

17、track all hours worked for regular employees, piece-rate employees, contract employees, migrant employees, and temporary employees. Manual attendance sheets must have exact time-in and timeout with employees acknowledgement. Electrical time keeping systems must have a battery back-up which starts im

18、mediately in the case of power loss to prevent loss of data.Issue IDIssue Description17dMust have time keeping system in the factory to accurately record working hours for all employees.Target requires that if a factory offers overtime hours to employees that they are always voluntary. Factories tha

19、t subject employees to coercion, financial penalty (e.g. wage deduction, and/or disciplinary action up and to termination) in response to employee refusal to accept overtime violates the Standards of Vendor Engagement (SOVE). 21、andard, whichever is lesser.Issue IDIssue Description19cEmployees must be allowed to decline overtime without penalty.19dEmployees must be given one day off after 13 consecutive days of work.19oTarget w川 not tolerate egregious and/or undisclosed violations of the Working Hours and Overtime standard.

22、 Target considers working hours of 80 or more hours per week egregious and such a finding will result in an auto-fail. Target will assess violations of working hours of between 60 and up to 80 hours per week on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration any relevant mitigating or aggravating fa

23、ctors. When mitigating factors, such as transparency, are present and illustrate that the factory is both willing and capable of remediating the violation, Target may not characterize the violation as critical. When aggravating factors are present, such as non-payment of legal overtime wages, and th

24、e factory is unwilling or incapable of remediating the violation, Target will consider the violation critical and the finding will result in an auto-fail.No Underage LaborTarget requires that all factories employ employees that are 15 years of age or older. Target considers local law standards excee

25、ding 15 years of age to be the prevailing requirement (e.g. Factory As national government requires all employees to be 17 years of age or older) so Target will evaluate the factorys compliance against their national standard.Employment of employees under this age requirement is a violation of our S
