1、Grammar and usage倒装句复习全部倒装全部倒装是指整个谓语放到主语的前面，即谓语在前，主语在后。有以下几种：1 . there be (lie, stand, live)句型。there be是谓语，其后的名词是主语。E.g. There are different forms of energy.2 .在以here, there, out, in, up, down, away, now, then等开头的句子中。E.g. There goes the bell.Here comes the bus.Out rushed the boy.Away went the childr

2、en.主语是人称代词时不倒装。例如：E.g. Here it is.给你。Away he went.他走 了。3 .当句首状语为表地点的介词词组时，也常常引起全部倒装。E.g. From the valley came a frightening sound.South of the city lies a big steel factory.4 .表语置于句首时，倒装结构为“表语+系动词+主语”(1)形容词+系动词+主语E.g. Present at the meeting were Professor White and many other guests.(2)过去分词+系动词+主语E.

3、g. Gone are the days when they could do what they liked to the Chinese people.(3)介词短语+be+主语E.g. Among the goods are Christmas trees, flowers, candles and toys.5 .such置于句首时E.g. Such was Albert Einstein, a simple man and the 20th centurys greatest scientist.此句型中的such多被认为是表语，所以such后面的be动词应该与其后的“真正主语”保持

4、一致。6 .用于so, nor, neither开头的句子，表示重复前句局部内容。原句的谓语应与前句谓语的时态、形式相一 致。E.g. Li Wei cant answer the question. Neither can I.He has been to Beijing. So have I.注意：如果是重复相同的意思，不倒装。例如：E.g. 一It was cold yesterday.一So it was.7 .为了使句子保持平衡，有时需要倒装。E.g. Nearby were two canoes in which they had come to the island.局部倒装即将

5、谓语的一局部提到主语之前。相当于变为一般疑问句中的谓语。是倒装句的重点,也是高考考查的热点 之一。局部倒装主要有以下几种情况：1. Only +状语在句首：E.g. Only then did I realize that I was wrong.译：只有在1918年战争结束后，他才开心的回去工作如果only后没有状语，即使在句首也不倒装。例如:1E.g. Only a doctor can do it.2. 否认副词 never, nor, not, hardly, little, seldom, scarcely, rarely 以及表示否认意义的介词短语 at no time, unde

6、r/in no circumstances （在任何情况下），in no case （在任何情况下）,by no means （决不），on no conditions（在任何情况下），no sooner.than, hardly/scarcelywhen等置于句首。（但是in no time立刻，马上，不 是否认意义的介词短语，不倒装）E.g. Never before have I seen such a moving film.二 I have never seen such a moving film before.Hardly do I think it possible to fi

7、nish the job before dark.=I hardly think it possible to finish the job before dark.译：他一个错误都没犯译：他一到车站，车就开了so.that句型，如果so在句首。E.g. So loudly did he speak that even people in the next room could hear him.译：湖水是如此的浅，以至于里面都没有鱼省略了 if的虚拟条件句。E.g. Had I been informed earlier, I could have done something.Should

8、 anyone call, tell him to wait for me here.译：如果不参与现在的工作，我会很愿意做你让我做的as, though引导让步状语从句时采用倒装形式的情况：（1）表语的倒装E.g. Tired as/though he was, he still went on with his work.Strange as/ though it seems, it is true.译：尽管他很疲惫，但是睡不着（2）状语的倒装E.g. Youngest as he is in our class, he speaks English the best.译：尽管非常喜欢自行

9、车，但是他不想买一辆(3)谓语动词的倒装E.g. Try as he might, he didnt pass the exam.译：能找的地方都找了，但是在房间里他们什么也没找到however与no matter how引导的让步状语从句：E.g. However great the difficulty may be, we wont lose heart.3. 感叹句：E.g. What a warm welcome they received!How fast he ran!4. the more.the more句型：E.g. The farther away a thing is,
