2、cials are aired,viewers get to know the brand better and gradually build up in it.Consumers also tend to fine-tune their demand after viewing commercials.Meanwhile,consumers are truly able to discover their own needs and to satisfy themselves even without the information in advertisements.Apart from
3、 the basic necessities,consumers needs and preferences tend to be based on what their peers own.What also influences shopping decisions is consumers social status.Overall,I would argue that advertising plays a more influential role in creating profitability for companies,which has been empirically proven by the ever-increasing marketing and sales budgets in most industries.The fact that consumers are cognizant of their real needs is still not the main driving force behind the high sales of consumer goods.
