1、2023年初中英语并列连词用法大集合 连词是一种虚词，它不能独立担当句子成分而只起连接词与词，短语与短语以及句与句的作用。连词主要可分为两类：并列连词和从属连词。并列连词用来连接平行的词，词组或分句;从属连词主要用来连接从句，即名词性从句，状语从句和定语从句。今天，我们主要讲解的是并列连词的基本用法。 (1) and与or and表示顺承，or表示选择时意为“或”，表示解释时意为“即”，在祈使句中意为“否则” I can speak English and Janpanese. 我会说英语和日语。 Which would you like? Tea or coffee? 您要哪一种?你要茶还是

2、咖啡呢? Hurry up, or we’ll be late. 快点儿，否则我们就要迟到了。 注意：and可以和祈使句或名词词组连用表示条件(or也有此用法)，如： Make up your mind, and you’ll get the chance.= If you make up your mind,you’ll get the chance. 如果你下定决心，你会有机会的。 (2) both.and. They can both read English and speak it well. 他们既能读英语又能说得很好。 She plays bo

3、th the piano and the guitar. 她既弹钢琴又弹吉他。 (3) not only.but also.与as well as She plays not only the piano, but also the guitar. 她不仅弹钢琴，而且弹吉他。 They visited some factories, hospitals as well as the school. 他们参观了这所学校，还参观了工厂和医院。 注意：not only.but also.连接两个分句时，否定词位于句首，句子要倒装。如： Not only does he like reading st

4、ories, but also he can even write some. 他不仅喜欢读故事，而且还可以写一些故事。 (4) neither.nor.表示既不.也不.,谓语动词采用就近原则，与nor后面的词保持一致。 Neither you nor he is a student. 你和他都不是学生。 (5) or, or else与otherwise意为否则 I must work hard, or I’ll fail in the exam. 我必须努力学习，否则我会考试不及格的。 (6) either.or.意为或者.或者.，谓语动词采用就近原则 Either you o

5、r I am right. 不是你就是我是对的。 (7) not.but.不是.而是.,not和but后面用的词要遵循一致原则 Not money but wisdom is what we want. 不是金钱，而是智慧，才是我们想要的。 They were not the bones of an animal, but(the bones)of a human being. 它们不是动物的骨头，而是人类的骨头。 (8) only, still, yet, and/but yet, 它们与but 相同 He promised, only he did not keep his word. 他
