1、 Unit 4 Reading A The night of the horse 授课人：郭婧 教学内容：8年级上册教学内容及课型教学目标及教学环节设计Reading A(阅读课)一、定位: input-based，阅读理解为主，体现词汇教学的主体思路。二学生与教材分析一般来说，由于学生的基础较差，每单元的阅读我们分两课时，第一课时我们主要是处理文章理解及基本词汇的问题，在第二课时，我们会把重点放在讲解、处理文章的语言点及难句分析上。本单元的主题是历史故事，因此在学习过程中，应该不止是学习课本的知识点，最重要的是要培养学生的历史文化意识，通过本单元的学习要让学生对国内外的一些历史故事有一定的了

2、解，积累文化背景语料。本课讲的主要是一个历史故事木马计，教材难度较大，而且学生对外国的文化背景了解几乎为零，因此在教材的处理上应设法降低难度，且应引导学生对历史故事有所反思，积极地思考。三、教学目标：1. 通过多种形式的阅读活动与任务，帮助学生理解课文。 2. 指导学生运用一定的阅读理解学习策略，培养一些阅读微技能，如：扫读，获取文章大意；推断，深层理解；通过构词法或上下文猜测生词大意等。3. 掌握以下重点单词和词组：1） guard, capture, main, drag, citizen, celebrate, prisoner, succeed, trick2） rush down,

3、on wheels, make jokes about, succeed, with a trick四、教学重点：1. 对课文的理解及运用学过的词汇进行复述。2. 重点生词及短语的掌握。 四、教学环节设计:Step 1. Lead-in Questions: Do you like films? What kind of films do you like? Love story? Science fiction? Or Historical stories? Have you ever seen the film Troy?（展示图片，同时展现Historical stories这个话题及T

Copy the new words and read aloud the text.教学评价与反思1. 本节课的设计具有故事性，能引起学生的兴趣。而且留有学生发挥的空间，从知识运用、能力提升、学生态度情感、文化意识几个方面都得到了落实，尤其是在词汇教学方面一环扣一环，从理解到运用到综合，踏踏实实地进行了落实。2. 不足的地方是，本节课的难度较大，部分基础较差的学生跟不上班级的脚步，建议对本节课进行进一步的分层及分化，对阅读、词汇教学部分的任务设计进行简化，以求面向全体。
