2、s,friends,colleagues or classmates.They pay tax,they work hard,and they contribute to the society,like ordinary people and everyone else.The only difference is that they have a different sexuality from yours and mine.We think that actually,this is precisely what pushes them to live invisibly,and can

3、t enjoy the same equal civil rights,like marriage.As the opening government,we dont think its fair for homosexual people,just because they have a different sexuality,they are deprived of the civil rights in the status quo.（2）As the opening government,we stand proud for the equality and fairness of h

4、omosexual people.Our policy is very simple,we might make it and inform you that the same-sex marriage is legal,and empower the LGBT to marry the one they really love,and enjoy the same legal rights granted by the state later.So basically,I will tell you three things in this very debate.First,why we

5、think the status quo in China is so harmful that its the urgent time to take action.And second,why we think marriage in nature is so important,and why granting the right to marry can solve the problem in the status quo.And thirdly,why do we think it is the time to legalize same-sex marriage in China

6、,and why do we think that actually China is ready to embrace the same-sex marriage?（3）First point:Why do we think the status quo in China is so harmful?First layer,Mr.Speaker,ladies and gentlemen,we think that the LGBT themselves in the status quo are actually harmed in the society,because the LGBT

7、issues are social taboos and actually are very immoral issues in the society,which is regarded by the majority of the society.So,most of the LGBT people,they live underground and hide themselves,and cannot choose to live their life which they really want in the first place.We think its not fair,beca

8、use as I have told you in my setting-up that those LGBT are just like ordinary people,like you and me,so they should be granted the same equal civil rights,and they should live their life they really want in the first place.（4）Second of all,this is harmful,because it also harms the opposite sex.We t

9、hink actually,because the homosexual issue is a social taboo,and most people think,the LGBT issues will harm the fame and reputations,and careers of their life.That is why they tend to pretend themselves to be heterosexual,and marry the opposite sex in their later life,and try to live like a normal

10、person.We think that actually this harms the opposite sex,because there is actually no affection between this person and the person he marries.Actually,if you see the case in China,many opposite sexes marry the LGBT people,and dont have sex life for many years,and this is precisely why we think this

11、 can do harm not only to the opposite sex,but also to the next generation,and for the happiness of the whole family.This is also the reason why HIV is a very bad consequence in this scenario.Because there is no restriction between the homosexual partner and you,and this is why you can live the life

12、without fidelity,and choose the instable sexual partner as you want.So this is why HIV is also a bad consequence based on this issue.（5）Secondly,I will tell you why marriage is so important and why we think that we should grant the right to the LGBT people,but before this,lower house.（6）Second point

13、,why do we think marriage in nature is so important.It is because at the end of the day,Mr.Speaker,marriage is not only about a piece of paper,its also about social protection officially granted by the state.The very reason why we marry is not only because we want to have such a piece of paper,but w

14、e want to get protection from the government,like the right to your property,the right to fidelity and the right to your child care.Such kind of issues,all the civil rights are actually attached to the marriage itself,so that is why we think a lot of the LGBT couples,even if they live together for m

15、any years,they cannot marry.And this is how their civil rights,like the right to property and the right to child care are deprived.So we think its not fair in this scenario,because all this rights actually,equally belong to every individual in the society,whether he or she is LGBT or heterosexual.So

16、 we think from the nature of marriage,that marriage is very important for any individual in the society.Moreover,we think by granting the right to marry,actually this also sends a message to the couple that this is also a very useful restriction between you and your sexual partner,that you cannot li

17、ve very random sex life with other people,and this is how to restrict you to fiddling with your sex partner,and this is how we can restrict the bad consequences of HIV.（7）The third and last point,Mr.Speaker,why do we think actually its time for China to embrace same-sex marriage?The first level we t

18、hink actually,China is a very special country,there is not so much religious influence in China,and we dont firmly believe that homosexuality is a crime.Its quite simple.Actually if you see the case in China,China is comparatively tolerant to the LGBT issues,not like the problems in Uganda and Zimba

19、bwe,they see homosexual people as criminals,and give them the capital punishment.So we think actually in the first level,we see the religious values and the religious influence are so inadequate,so China has the basis to accept and embrace same-sex marriage in the first place.But second of all,the c

20、ultural environment is also ready to accept.And this is also the basis why we think for Chinese people,its much easier for them to accept such kind of issues,because for most cases those LGBTs and their parents dont want to talk about LGBTs,not because they believe in some kind of specific religion,

21、but out of irrationality.（8）So for all the reasons,Mr.Speaker,we tell you the status quo in China is so harmful and so severe,and its time to solve all problems.And we tell you that marriage is very essential and important,and it is the equal civil right for every individual in the society.By granti
