8、hem totally changed her feelings towards him. She was deeply attracted by his tone of voice. However, she resisted the temptation by leaving home without saying goodbye to him. At last, she overcame everything and accepted her husbands suggestion of having Gouvemail visit their plantation again.2) T

In making inferences we go beyond surface details and “read between the lines“ and use hints to reach information
31、logically. Factual details in what we read provide the basis of our knowledge. But not every bit of information is apparent or clearly stated. We may have to build upon our own knowledge and experience in order to understand something fully. Because information is not always stated in exact terms, w
