In the process of translation it is inevitable for translators to meet with all sorts of cultural difference

2、s and barriers. Cultural difference is acomplicated subject, which embodies the cultural diversity and brings sorts of barriers to translation as well. This paper consists of four chapters. Translation is not only the conversion between the two languages, but also the communication between the two c

3、ultures. Due to the huge difference between the eastern and Western cultures, the translator is bound to face various obstacles in translation activities. Translating Chinese into English, if they can not properly handle the translation caused by cultural differences, not only causes cultural misrea

4、ding, it will further lead to failures in cross-cultural communication, so the Western readers cannot understand the essence of China culture. Translators should adapt to the objective requirements of cultural exchange and try to deal with the problem of cultural differences in the attitude of cultu

5、ral equality. If the translator is properly handled, the translation must be smooth, and the reader is more receptive to the understanding; if the translator is not properly handled, the target text will appear blurred.Wang Zhaojun is a famous event in the history of China, but with the passage of t

If we can adopt proper translation strategy, translation can overcome the barriers caused by cultural differences, and the maximum transmission contained in the original semantic and cultural information, so that we w

10、ould have a more smooth and fluent translation, better play the role of cultural exchange.In this paper, I make Sorrow in the Han Palace as a case for translation, being to explore the problems and deal with the problem of translation caused by cultural differences in order to better deal with the r

11、elated problems in the translation activities in the future. A qualified translator must enhance cultural training and consciousness while focusing on the comparison and study of culture and language. Besides, he should also apply different translation methods to effectively convey cultural connotat
