2、内容。内容简介 （英文）As a required course for undergraduate students in Chinese Language and Literature, The Foreign Literature is designed to offer elaboration and discussion on major writers and their writings in foreign literature history. It covers Ancient Greek Literature, Medieval Literature, Renaissan

3、ce Literature, 17-Century Literature and 18-Century Literature. After taking this course, students are supposed to get a comprehensive understanding of foreign literatures and enhance their reading, appreciation and critical thinking of those writings. Hence, students would get a better understanding of the history of how foreign literature has developed, meanwhile, meet students reading and appreciation demands of foreign literature.
