2、s their supreme glory。 In a Chinese story, the man called Fanjin gets crazy because he has passed “keju”. So far， the exam fever still exists in China。 There are about 10 million Chinese students preparing for the exam every year. In my opinion, this phenomenon is a ridiculous tradition. Why do we t

3、ake the exam as part of our life? Maybe it has no significance. I think the college entrance examination should be abolished by Chinese Education Department, because it gives students too much pressure， influences students characteristic development and hardly mirrors students real ability.Students

4、must be stressed out because of a low rate of admission。 Therefore, Chinese people are fond of comparing the college entrance examination to a singleplank bridge and to regard the millions of participants as the millions of opposing armies. From the research of Baidu, we can see that with the coming

5、 of June 8, nearly 32% of participants will catch the examination syndrome-a kind of mental illness which results from extreme pressure. It is common practice in the evening before June 8 to lay sleepless until dawn. Hence I have to declaim against the college entrance examination. Its not the best

6、method of admission to university。 Whats worse， it does harm to students health because of pressure.On the other hand， the college entrance examination has a bad impact on students characteristic development。 As we were little kids, we had respectively perfect dreams。 However, all the swans are gees

7、e。 Most of students have no time to study further on what they really like. Theyre supposed to spend more time on their academic studies. In China， a band called “shui mu nian hua”(水木年华) consists of two singers who both drop out from Tsinghua University. What a pity, although they have passed the ex

8、am and gone into Tsinghua University， there is insufficient time for them to practice singing. Large quantities of their fans appreciate their spirit of pursuing dreams more than their capabilities of singing。Meanwhile, the college entrance examination cant reflect students real abilities. This Educ

9、ation System limits the flexibility of studying。 Students just pay more attention to study what will be tested in the college entrance examination. In fact, their abilities are so poor. At the International Physics Olympiad， Chinese players always get high scores during written tests， but often fail

10、 in scientific experiments. Too much emphasis on academic studies is a direct cause of ordinary ability。 High grades cant represent high ability.How ridiculous the college entrance examination and it is just a convention that has long history。 Considering the seriousness of the problem, it is necessary for Chinese people to abolish it without hesitation。 In order to get rid of stress, develop characteristically and acquire practical knowledge， Chinese students need a completely new Education System. Only in this way can we have a wonderful future.
