For our life and business， people drive cars are necessary, but in the sense of the traffic problems, pollution problems， and the security problems， I

3、 think the government should limit the total number of cars。First, with the increasing number of cars, the traffic problem has become more serious. Do you know how many people will get the drive license every year in Beijing? And for those people how many people will buy their own car? The total num

4、ber is difficult to say， but from the research every month about 50007000 people register the car license. From 2008 Olympic Games Beijing has limited the cars according to the last number of the cars plates stop driving the car one day during a week. Traffic congestion has already become nightmaris

5、h in Beijing and other prosperous cities。 People both those driving cars and those taking buses are moving slower。 when I was little ，traffic jams used to occur only on weekdays and during rush hour（7:009：00 am， 17:0020：00pm)， while now they occur everyday .You even cannot tell the rush hour, becaus

6、e rush hour has turned into rush day。Furthermore， have you ever realizes that the sky which above our head has become cloudy? The air pollution in Beijing is one of the most serious problems. Lung cancer has become one of the top killers for many countries. More people are suffering from respiratory

7、 illnesses. The bloodlead levels of many young children have reached unhealthy heights. Also， the huge numbers of cars spend lots of gasoline, the fossil fuels being developed more serious that destroy the nature resources. The increasing number of cars lead our environment bad influence。 In fact， C

8、ar owners should feel responsible for contributing to this pollution problems. So， limit the number of cars is necessary.Last but not least， the security is the most important factor in our daily life。 But have you ever thought that if the government limits the amount of the cars， the incidence of t

9、he traffic accidents will significantly decrease？ （According to a web site research, it shows that every day in China at least 300 people are killed in traffic an accident， ranking the country top in the world for both the death toll and the death rate and the figure is accelerating by 10 per cent e

10、very year.) It is ironic because the number of vehicles in China is far smaller than that in Western countries; the death rate from road accidents is much higher. Although the Chinese Government has formed a new committee and introduced a new Road Traffic Safety Law to reduce the accident rate， but

11、it cannot effectively control a number of vehicles accident on the road。 In summary， we cannot leave the cars in our life。 However, considering the traffic problems， pollution problems， and security problems, the government should limit the total number of cars. Controlling the number of vehicles not only can effectively relieve the traffic pressure, conducive our air quality, reduce the accident probability, but also save peoples money on their car maintenance, and increase the area of green field land instead of parking places。
