Pre-learning:(1) The teacher displays

2、several sentences from the reading passage and asks students to figure out the meaning of the underlined words. (Teaching aims: Students can pay attention to present participle and know their meaning for better understanding of this grammar point.)2. While-learning:(1) The teacher asks students to o

3、bserve the first two sentences and find out the functions of two present participle underlined. (Teaching aims: Students can discover and summarize the form and function of present participle.)(2) The teacher invites some students to share their ideas about its functions and presents the real functi

(Teaching aims: To let student understand the basic function.)(3) The teacher presents a video clip which gives specific explanation about present participle and students can get to know its usage directly. (Teaching aims: Students can learn about how to use it in real context throu

5、gh the video watching.)(4) The teacher asks students to fill in the blanks according to the given context.
