8、h difference (to) (对)没有/几乎没有/有些/有很大影响tell the difference between 说出之间的不同之处make a difference between 区别对待 【即学即用】 完成句子 今年他能否考上大学事关重大。 whether he can be admitted to college this year. 窗外的噪声对我们学生没有影响。 The noise outside the window to us students. (2)本句中的It是形式主语,whether a teacher speaks British or America
9、n English是真正的主语。whether.or.可用来引导名词 性从句,意思是“是还是”;也可引导让步状语从句,表示转 折,意为“无论还是”。 I dont know whether they will come for our help or not. 我不知道他们是否要来求我们帮忙。(宾语从句) It is uncertain whether she will pass or fail. 她是否能过关还不确定。(主语从句) The moon is a moon still, whether it shines or not. (谚)不管是明还是暗,月亮总是月亮。(让步状语从句) 【即

The question is theyll take a bus or a plane.3.As a tourist, you will need to use the underground in London or the subway in New York, or maybe you will prefer to get around the town by taxi (British) or cab (American). 作为游人,在伦敦你要
