(Period 5)课型新授课（语法课）教学目标一、 语言能力目标：1. 学生进一步掌握情态动词的基本用法，并能够根据具体语境选择相应的情态动词。2. 学生使用恰当的情态动词说服他人。二、 学习能力目标：1. 学生结合Unit 1 所学的情态动词，形成一个自己的知识框架，加 加深理解和记忆。三、 文化意识目标：1. 学生初步了解“黑色星期五”这一节日，拓展知识储备。教学重点1. 引导学生掌握情态动词表推测的用法。2. 引导学生在真实语境中提升对情态动词的

2、理解。教学难点1. 引导学生对易混淆的情态动词用法进行区分。2. 引导学生在真实情景中选择合适的情态动词。主要教法交际教学法、任务型教学法、PWP教学法教学过程1. Pre-learning:(1) The teacher reviews what have been taught in the last unit with students. (Teaching aims: To arouse students interest and let them retreat modal verbs.)(2) The teacher displays five sentences from the

3、 reading passage and asks students to find out the modals. (Teaching aims: Students can develop their critical thinking ability.)2. While-learning:(1) The teacher plays a video clip and asks students to think about function of the modals. (Teaching aims: Students can cultivate their thinking ability

(Teaching aims: Students can get to know those new modal verbs basic meanings from the context.)(3) The teacher explains the usages of could which indicates a sense of possi
