3、ts in middle school.The maintopic of this unit is“transportation”.In this unit，students will learn to talk aboutkinds of transportation,how long it takes to go to school and how far from home toschool。Such a topic is related to our daily life，so I think it is easy to arouse the studentslearning inte

4、rests.Part 2Part 2 Analysis of studentsAnalysis of studentsThe students I teach are from Grade 7.They are at age of 12。They are active，energetic and curious.They are poor in cooperate learning skills.Their thinking abilityis strong，but the attention can be scattered easily.Most of them can only unde

10、he main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle Schoolis to cultivate students abilities of listening，speaking,reading，writing and theirgoodsenseoftheEnglishlanguage.SointhislessonIllmainlyuse“Communicative”teaching method，“Audiovisual”teaching method and“Task-based”teaching method。That

11、 is to say，Ill let the students get a betterunderstanding of the key structures.Ill give the students some tasks and arrangesome kinds of activities,like talking，watching and reading in roles.In a word，I want to make the students the real masters in class while the teacherhimself acts as director。I

12、also hope to combine the language structures with thelanguage functions and let the students receive some moral education while they arelearning the English language。Part 6Part 6-Teaching procedures-Teaching proceduresAs this lesson plays an important part in the English teaching of this unit，I have

13、decided the following steps to train their ability of listening,speaking,reading andwriting，especially writing and speaking ability.The entire steps are:Step1:Warm-up and Leadin(2 minutes)Show the students some pictures of common transportations，to review newwords，phases and useful structures what t

14、hey have learned in last lesson.And I alsowill ask the students:What can you see from the pictures？Is there another kind oftransportation around us?Do you know how to use the words？Purpose of my designing：In this part,have the students discuss more abouttransportation。In this way,they will know toda

15、ys lesson has something to do withtheir discussion.Step2:Presentation1.Show some pictures to help them use new words in target structures.Purpose of my designing:After seeing the pictures,the students will know more aboutthe key structures and they can learn them quickly and easily.2.Help them to ma

16、ster the key structures by matching the questions with the answers(3a)and using the words to make sentences（3b)Purpose of my designing:By doing these exercises,can get students really master thetarget language。3.Asking your classmate questions and write their name in the chant(Section A 3c）.Purpose

17、of my designing:This step is employed to make the students get the generalidea of the text.At the same time，let the students have a chance to practice theirlistening and speaking ability。Also students can know more about each other byasking and answering.Step3：PracticeWork in groups.First,I will let

18、 the students work in groups and make them have a discussion to findout the key points and difficult points in this lesson。Then encourage them to makea similar dialogue and know the meaning.After that,I will help students to summarizethe key points and difficult points.I will show them some structur

19、es and help themmaster them.Purpose of my designing:By practicing using these new words and phrases,thestudents will know how to use them in English and master the use of them better。Step4:ProductionI will give the students 3 minutes to prepare，and get them make a dialogue andpractice it in groups。T

20、hen help the students ask each other。And encouragethem to say more。Purpose of my designing：（1）After this section，students have managed to use the key structures thus，in this step,I create a circumstance to examine their ability of applying the structuresthey have learned into daily conversations。(2)

21、Whats more，the retelling session aims at training students ability of talkingabout transportation。By writing and speaking such things，get the students topractice their writing and speaking ability.Step5：Summarize and HomeworkI will ask the students such questions:What have we learned from this lesso
