You take responsibility for filling your own needs by taking steps to create these feelings and conditions in your life. When you make a commitment to live by your “being” values, it becomes ea
6、sier to make conscious choices rather than reactionary(保守的)ones. If your usual habit is to complain about your problems,you could choose to think and act like a calm person. A calm person might go for a walk,meditate(沉思),or set a time limit before responding. If your usual pattern is to worry, you c

In spite of this, he became the most famous writer of his time. He made millions of dollars by writing. His real name was Samuel Langhorne
11、 Clemens, but he is best known all over the world as Mark Twain, his pen name. Mark Twain was born in 1835 and he was not a healthy baby. In fact, he was not expected to live through the first winter. But with his mothers care, he managed to survive. As a boy, he caused much trouble for his parents.
12、 He used to play jokes on all his friends and neighbors. He didnt like to go to school, and he often ran away from home. He always went in the direction of the nearby Mississippi. He was nearly drowned nine times. After his fathers death, Mark Twain began to work for a journeyman printer, who only p
13、rovided him with food and clothing. Then , he worked as a riverboat pilot(领航员) and later joined the army. But shortly after that he become a miner. During this period, he started to write short stories. Afterwards he became a fulltime writer. In 1870, Mark Twain got married. In the years that follow
