2、ur culture. We understand that making a career choice is one of the most impo rtant decisions that you have to take， and it is extremely important that you make an informed one. The Program helps you get a first-hand experience in areas such as Global Corp orate Bank， Global Markets， Global Transact

3、ion Services， Global Subsidiary Gro up， Financial Institution， Risk Management， Compliance， Internal Audit， Human Resources， Corporate Affairs， Finance， and Legal while you are still at university. The China Summer Internship Program is 3 months long and commences in July eve ry year. You will be as

4、signed to a business area within Institutional Clients Group （ICG） based on your individual preferences as well as the needs of the business. The business areas where you may work with include： Global Corporate Bank Global Markets Global Transaction Services Global Subsidiary Group Financial Institu

5、tion Risk Management / Compliance Human Resources / Corporate Affairs Apart from on-the-job training in your host business area， you will join other Summer Interns in an intensive training program that comprises of orientation and induction sessions. These trainings provide you with an overview of o

6、ur o rganization and our products. By giving you insight into the different business areas， you will see how those areas work， and the synergies among them. Throughout the summer， you will also join a series of activities to help devel op your people and relationship skills and to build a network of

7、 contacts w hich would be very useful as you embark on your career in the financial servic es sector. You will also develop a professional rapport with your assigned Mentor， who ca n offer you his or her experience， knowledge， and guidance throughout the summ er. The Summer Internship Program is dem

8、anding and your learning curve will be ste ep. However， you will not be bored and will constantly be faced with new chall enges and projects that are of real business impact. The Program also serves a s a platform for us to identify outstanding individuals who can make a differe nce and demonstrate

9、an ability to bring about change in the future. Very often， interns who perform and exceed expectations will be considered and propelled ahead of their peers in the interview proce ss for full time graduate positions. Who are we looking for？ To excel in this role， you must be a pro-active and self-m

10、otivated individual， who are willing to take responsibility and adapt to change. A financial background is not a must bu t you do need to have a keen interest in the financial services sector and an eagerness to forge you r own career paths. You must have proven academic performance and intellectual

11、 curiosity. But its just as important tha t you demonstrate commitment and a positive attitude at all times. You need to be confident， mature， and be able to communicate and execute your ideas succ essfully. Not to mention that you can work independently and in a team. In order to be considered for

12、the China Summer Internship Program， you will al so need to be in your pen-ultimate year in your Masters Degree from a reputable university. Fluency in English and Putonghua is necessary. In addition， you need to be a PRC National and have the autho rity to work in the location applied for. Recruitm
