3、month,theysharedwhattheylearned.DecadesofDiscoveryScientistsbeganbyexploringtheseas.Alongtheway,theydiscoveredmanynewspecies.“Wefoundlifeeverywherewelooked,”sayscensusscientistsPatriciaMiloslavich.“Wehavegiven1,200newnamestoscience.”Onenamebelongstoatypeoffurrywhitecrabthatspendsitslifeatthebottomof
4、thePacificOcean.Theunusualcreaturelivesinaworldoftotaldarkness.Anothernewspecies,anine-poundlobster,wasfoundintheIndianOcean,nearAfrica.“Itis surprising that an animal of that size would remain to be discovered.”saysAusubel.Scientistsalsodidresearchonland.Theyreadthrougholdrecords,includingscientifi
