1、英语语法词汇详解much和amount的用法说到名词中的英语思维，就不能不提到两个表示数量的词，much与 amount,虽然严格来说much属于数量词或副词，但因为它经常与名 词搭配使用，所以有必要一起做出说明。这两个词的广泛使用充分体现了英语的客观性原则，是我们必须要掌握 的。Much对much 一词，中国学生用得最多的有两点，一是作为数量词用在不可 数名词前面，二是作为副词与very组成词组修饰动词或形容词，如 Thank you very much.但事实上much的用法要多得多，也要灵活得多。much的原义是用来 表示数量，这个基本词义经过延伸之后可以用来表示程度、频率等，可 以用来

2、代替一些副词、形容词、动词等。请看以下例句。1.表示程度。(1) Was there much traffic ?交通拥挤吗?(用 much 来代替 heavy )六.主语从句不可位于句首的五种情况(I) If引导的主语从句it is uncertain if he will leave for Xizang tomorrow. ( right)If he will leave for Xizang tomorrow is uncertain ( wrong ) 他明天是否离开西藏是不确定的(2 ) It is said , (reported)结构中的主语从句It is said that

I like him a normal amount.我不爱 Joey , 我只是在正常范围内喜欢他。(正常程度)(13 ) We love kids the appropriate amount.我们爰孩子，但要恰 如其分。(恰当的程度).主语从句1 .宾语从句.表语从句2 .同位语从句。名词在句子中可以作为：主语、宾语、表语、同位语名词性从句又有四种：主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。文章观点借鉴-阿丁的猫，星火英语1.解释主谓宾，宾语位置用一个单词表达不了，所以就要用一个句子来代替。名词从句须置于五个名词位置”（主语位、宾语位、表语位、补语位、 介宾位）中的

14、任意一个位置。例如主语位:What we need now is time.宾语位:Michael said that he expected to go Xizang.表语位：Her suggestion was that we should stay here.补语位：Friend made Mike who he wanted to be.介宾位：Your future depends on how hard you work.主语从句(subject clause)一定义 主语从句(subject clause )，就是利用一个从句来代替主语。例如:That she finished

15、writing the homework in such a short time surprised us .引导主语从句的连词主要有: 从属连词:that, whether连接代词：whose , what , whatever , which z whichever, who , whoever, whom连接副词：whenever, wherever, however, when , where , how z why主语从句的连接词that无实际意义，但是不可省略其他连接词有实际意义，不可省略三.时态 从句时态不受主句时态的影响Who will be our teacher hasn

16、t been decided yet.现在还没有决定谁会成为我们的老师。（主句将来时，从句完成式）四.注意点主语从句大多数情况下视为第三人称单数，但也有例外。由what引导的主语从句视情况而定That price will go up is certain.价格持续上涨是确定的Whether we will go for an library tomorrow remains unknown.我们明天是否会去图书馆仍旧未知。What caused the accident remains unknown.事故的起因是未知的。What we need are good teachers.我们需要

17、的是好的老师。如果主语从句放在句首表示是否的时候不能用If只能有WhetherIf Mike really heard him is really doubtful （ false ）值得怀疑的是，是否麦克真的听了他的话（错误）whether Mike really heard him is really doubtful ( correct)值得怀疑的是，是否麦克真的听了他的话（正确） 五.为了防止句子头重脚轻，通常把形式主语it放在句首位置，真正主 语搁置于句末（止+形式主语谓语+宾/表+从句）(1) That he will win the game is certain. It is

18、certain that he will win the game.他一定会赢得这场游戏的。(2 ) That he has made a very important discovery in history is true - It is true that he has made a very important discovery in history.他的确在历史领域有了一个伟大的发现。(3 ) what caused the UFO phenomenon is still a mystery. It is still a mystery what caused the UFO phenomenon.造成UFO现象的原因仍旧是个秘密。
