He was a poet. He was good at writing poems.三、教材分析本节课是人教版小学英语六年级上册Unit5 Famous P
2、eop I e中的 第1课时Get Readyo本课的主要内容是学习10个和国内外名人相 关的生词 inventor, artist, scientist, poet, writer, American, French, Danish, poem, paint.,以及会运用句型:-What do you know about Li Bai? -He was Chinese. He was a poet. He was good at writing poems, 来 表达关于5位名人所了解的知识。本节课是与国内外名人相关,这一 部分与学生的文学常识联系紧密,如何让学生学会用英语来介绍某一 个名
3、人,如他是谁,他是哪一个国家的人,他是做什么的,他因什么 而著名等是本单元所要学习的重点、内容通过学习学会用英语来介绍 名人,并能说出其特点,发展他们的语言表达能力,同时进一步培养 他们的语言综合运用能力。同时在学习中,可以让学生们了解国内外 为人类社会进步做出巨大贡献的人,增加对中外历史文化的了解,拓宽视野,同时可以激励他们为成为一个对社会有用的人而努力。四、学情分析六年级的学生在经过三年的英语学习后,英语学习方法有了极 大的提升。但在课堂教学中,要让学生对继续学习英语有兴趣,已经 不能单纯依靠低中年级的游戏教学。课堂教学的设计要更多到注重与 学生思维的碰撞。结合本班的实际情况,在备课时,教
4、师有意增大信 息量的输入,如静夜思、昆虫记等和名人相关的作品等,使本 课内容更加丰满,将课本知识全方位、多角度、立体化的呈现在学生 面前,以此激发学生的学习兴趣。五、教学目标1 .能够听懂、会说以下单词:inventor, artist, scientist, poet, wr iter, Amer ican, French, Danish, poem, paint, 并尝试 借助拼读规律记忆单词。2 .能使用之前学习过的句子-What do you know about?进行 对话,介绍本单元的5位中外名人。3 .能根据语境从上述单词中选择恰当的词或短语填空。六、教学重难点能够听懂、会说以下
