The title of the unit is “Do you want to watch a game show? The topic of this unit is TV shows and the functions are
2、 to talk about preferences and make plans. In this period ,teacher will teach how to express preferences, how to show plans and how to give reasons through listening and speaking . Students are expected to express their likes and dislikes about different kinds of TV shows .They should also learn to
3、make plans and give the end, the teacher will guide students to avoid spending too much time on TV and protect their eyes.II. Analysis of the StudentsThe teaching object of this class is the students of Grade 8. They have learned how to express their Section A of this unit,la-lc, they have already g
4、ot some TV shows. They can also talk about their preferences briefly. But, they may have some problems making plans and giving topic is about students, favorite TV shows, so they will have great interest . However, students may have problems in expressing themselves or pronouncing the words, so the
5、teacher need to help them solve problems by practising more.III. Analysis of Learning ObjectivesBy the end of the class, students will be able to:1.
