7、lenttranslation;S幸Tmistranslation。 ThethesishasstudiedthetranslationdifferenceofthelexicalcategoriesbetweenDent-YangsworkandPearlBucksbasedonthequalitativeandquantitativecomparison.TheoutcomeshowsthatPearlBuckhasdonearelativelybetterjobintermsofthelexicalcategoriestranslationwithhigherfrequencyofequ
8、ivalenttranslationandlowerfrequencyofovertranslationandundertranslation.However,therearecertaininadequaciesinBuckstranslationwithahigherfrequencyofmistranslationandnon-translation.Thedifferenceresultsaremainlyduetothedifferentunderstandingstothesourcetextandthedifferenttranslationstrategiesadoption.
9、 ABSTRACT ThisinterpretationreportisconcernedwiththeEnglish-ChinesesimultaneousinterpretationprogramoftheattributiveclausesinBarackObamas2020StateoftheUnionAddress.Ittargetstoimprovetheauthorspracticalskillsofinterpretation. BarackObamas2020StateoftheUnionAddressisapersonalpoliticaladdresswithformal
10、languageandpersonalpresentationstyle.Inthepresentation,Obamausedmanyattributiveclausestogiveinformation.However,theattributiveclausesareverydifficultforsimultaneousinterpretation.BecauseofthehugedifferencesinlinguisticstructuresbetweenChineseandEnglish,itistoughforinterpreterstofinishinterpretationa
11、ndmaintainlogicregularitysimultaneously.Indetail,itisdifficulttotranslatetheverylongattributiveclausesintoadjectives.Anditistoughforinterpreterstotranslatetheattributiveclauseslocatedinthemiddleofthesentenceaswellastheattributiveclausesattheendofthesentence,whichcostsmuchtimeinsimultaneousinterpreta
