2、here are altogether 50 new words and phrases in these five parts.21 of them are marked with triangles,which shows that the students neednt learn them by heart.It is enough to recognize them when meeting them while reading the passage.The other 29 should all be remembered,among which the following 9
3、words and expressions are even more important:aim,adopt,possess,attempt,a great deal,typical,predict,specific,on the other hand.They are all very useful and important.So are the sentence patterns“Among the painters who broke away from the traditional style of painting were the Impressionists,who liv
