2、June 1991,its main responsibilities are:1)Drawing up the development planning of Philosophy and Social Sciences and the annual planning;2)Managing and financing Social Sciences Funding;3)Checking the situation for implementing long-term and annual planning,and communicating social sciences research

3、information;4)Organizing specialists to evaluate,inspect and develop the results of important research.This fund supports hundreds of projects from 21 areas.In 2007,95 projects were funded in economic theory and 243 projects were funded in applied economics.In the field of economic theory,there were

4、 8 projects related to finance:Research on the restriction of the financial structure and unsustainable growth of Chinese economy 金融结构约束与中国经济非平稳增长研究 Description of RMB exchange rate action and research into exchange rate policies;人民币汇率行为描述与汇率政策研究 Research into the development of finance and distribu

7、究 There were nearly 20 projects in applied economics mainly covering the modern business insurance,government accounting,merger and reorganization of public companies,enterprise valuation,international capital,financial security and financial supervision,the exchange rate of RMB and the foreign exch

8、ange rate mechanism,financial efficiency,stock markets and bond markets,financial system and services in rural China.In 2008,95 economic theory projects and 233 applied economics projects were funded.In the field of economic theory,there were 9 projects related to finance:Research into the modern le
