10、、unless的基本用法连词unless意为“除非;如果不”，“除了”，多引导一个否定意义的真实条件句，有时也可引导非真实条件句。unless引导条件句时，主要用于下列情况。(1)主句为肯定句。如：如果我不到城里每一家书店去看看，我就不知道是否能买到我想要的书。UnlessIvisiteverybookstoreintown,IshallnotknowwhetherIcangetwhatlwant你要不快点就会错过班车。Youwillmissthebusunlessyouhurryup如果你不再加把劲，你化学考试还会不及格。Youllfailinchemistryagainunlessyouw

11、orkharder(2)主句为否定句。如：要不是你经常给发动机上油，它就不会转得那么顺畅。Unlessyouoilthemotorregularly,itwontrunsmoothly要是我对这些事情没有把握，我就不说这话了。IwouldntbesayingthisunlessIweresureofthefacts如果你不设定目标，你哪儿也去不了。Youwillnevergetanywhereunlessyouhavesetyourgoalassoonas意思为“A事件发生后就做B事件”，“一就”，引导时间状语从句。在每一个大的时间段内，A和B的时态要统一。比如A过去式，B肯定也在过去时内。其

12、它也是如此。至于在每个大时间段内，再根据A和B两件事的具体情况，具体对待。A现在时assoonasB现在时A过去时assoonasB过去时IwenttodomyhomeworkassoonasIcamebackhome.A将来时assoonasB将来时(可用一般现在时表将来)Theywillsendmethebooksassoonastheyreceivemymoney.assoonas连接的时间状语从句中，指未发生的动作，规律是主句一般将来时，从句用一般现在时代替一般将来时。如：Iwilltellhimthenewsassoonashecomesback.assoonas指紧接着发生的两个短

13、动作，主从句都用一般过去时。如：HetookouthisEnglishbooksassoonashesatdown.“sothat”句型的意思是“如此/这么以致于”，常引导结果状语从句。该句型及其转换也是中考的热点。其用法如下所示：sothat句型中so是副词，常常用来修饰形容词或副词，常用句型为：主语+谓语+so+adj./adv.+that从句。1.heissoyoungthatshecantlookafterherself.2.TheboyransofastthatIcouldntcatchhim.3.Hewassoangrythathecouldntsayaword.so+adj.+a
