1、课题Lesson 40 : When Is Your Birthday ?时间12.30班级七年级教师李卓科目英语课时 1课型 New一、教材内容分析： 要求学生掌握本课的词汇和句型，本单元的语法还是基数词和序数词的用法，让学生通过对自己和家人及朋友生日的英语表达来继续的学习序数词的用法，及日期的英语表达。二、教学重、难点：重点：掌握本课的词汇及句型难点：基数词和序数词的用法，日期的英文表达三、教学目标（知识，技能，过程方法，情感态度、价值观）：知识与技能：1、 单词和短语:The New Words :August, September , November ,seventh , July,

2、 eighth , ninth , tenth, October leap year 2、过程与方法：通过教学视频让学生学习，小组合作，学生自主探究学习3情感态度与价值观：让学生通过本课的学习了解自己家人及朋友的生日，以及了解中外文化的差异，了解日期的英文表达。四、学情分析：七年级的学生，由于年龄小，又加上生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛等特别感兴趣。针对学生现状，在课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主，注重培养学习英语的兴趣，营造学英语的氛围，鼓励学生开口说英语，特别是给差生创造机会，让他们尝试成功的喜悦。五、教学策略选择与设计（教法及学法的设计）：Speaking and talking

Play the tape again .Ask the students to read aloud as they listen .3) Now ask the students to open their books and complete Lets Do It !No.1.Check the answers together as a class.Step 5: Break it down After youve listened to story , review and discuss what

7、 part of the lesson is poem about the months of the year .Here are some new words we will see in the poem .Repeat after me : leap year ,rest,September ,November.Step7 :Listen and read 1) Play the tape for Lesson 40 :Part 2 ( How many days in a month ? ).Ask the class to listen first and then to read

8、 aloud with the audiotape .Play the audiotape twice .2) Individual Work : Lets Do It ! No.2 Have the students read Part 2 of the lesson again and write “true”or “false”in the spaces provided.Check the answers as a class .Step8:Break it down After youve listened to story ,review and discuss what was

12、heir dialogues ,practise them and be prepared to share them with the class.Step 11 : Language Notes 1、 Im making a birthday present for my grandfather . 我正在为我的祖父制作一张生日卡片。make sth.for sb .表示“为某人制作某物”，也可以表达为:make sb.sth. 例如：I made a cake for my mother yesterday .= I made my mother a cake yesterday .我昨

13、天为我妈妈做了一个生日蛋糕。2、 When is his birthday ? 他的生日是什么时候？ when 是副词，表示“什么时候”，用来引导特殊疑问句，询问时间。例如：When do you go to school ? 你什么时候去上学？When is Li Mings birthday ?李明的生日是什么时候？what time 和 when 都可以表示“什么时候”，但前者用于提问准确的时间。试比较：A : What time is it ? 几点了？B ：Its 7:30 in the morning .上午七点半。如果问话人不是特别强调时间点或时间段，二者可以通用。回答时可以用准

14、确的时间点或时间段。例如：A : When do you go to school ? 你什么时候去上学？B : At eight in the morning . 早上八点。注意：在询问节日时，习惯上用when ,而不使用what time 。Step12.Sum up the items brieflyStep13. Homework八、教学评价设计：1、知识评价：本课主要让学生学习英语中年月日的表达方法，和序数词的表达。2、能力评价：学生的底子相对来说还算可以，掌握起来还是比较轻松的。九、教后反思：本课主要让学生学习如何用英语来表达自己和家人及朋友的生日，主要让学生学习序数词的表达方法，序数词是本单元的一个难点，而且也比较抽象，让学生从前面的基数词学起，先让学生掌握序数词，在让学生掌握英语中年月日的表达，最后在说出自己的生日。课堂上大家都很踊跃，掌握情况也比较良好。
