2、re good doctors.Do you know when he will come?I often wonder if/ whether animals have the same senses as humans.3.归纳:宾语从句的概念:宾语从句在复合句中作主句的_。通常放在主句谓语动词(及物动词)、介词或形容词之后。句子结构: 【课内探究】第二次先学后教(17mins)(一)连接词的用法1观察:Tom says (that) he must study hard.She said she liked English very much and that she didnt lik
3、e maths at all.归纳:由that引导的陈述句,由于that没有任何意义,也不充当任何句子成份,可以 。如果由and连接两个 的宾语从句时,第二个that则不能 。2观察:.Can you tell me what theyre looking for?I dont know where she has gone. 归纳:由连接代词或连接副词who, whose, what, which, when , where, how , why 引导,含有“ ”等特殊疑问意义。3由从属连词whether和if引导,含有“是否,能否,对否,有否”等一般疑问意义。常用在ask,care,fin
4、d out,know, wonder等动词后引出带有疑问意义的宾语从句。在这类宾语从句中要注意两点:(1)if引导宾语从句和状语从句的区别观察: I dont know if the letter is yours.Theyll go boating if it is fine tomorrow. 归纳:Aif引导宾语从句时意为“ ”,从句中该用什么时态就应用什么时态。Bif引导状语从句时意为“ ”,从句中应用一般将来时,即主将从现。(2)whether与if引导宾语从句时,一般可通用,但下列情况下whether不可换用if。观察:1.I dont know whether or not it
5、 rains. 2.Whether they will go by air or by train hasnt decided. 3.Please tell us whether to go or stay. 4.We discussed whether we should let him join our team.归纳:whether之后紧跟 时。 whether引导主语从句位于 时。whether用在带有 的动词不定式之前。有些动词(如 )后面只能跟whether,不能跟if。(二)、从句时态观察:1.I hear hell be back in a week. 2. I hear Mr

Evans lives in Boston. 3.She said she hoped to be back soon. 4.She said she had seen the film the day before. 5.Could you tell us if(whether) Kates father works in that hospital?6.Could you tell us if(whether)Alice worked out the problem herself?7.The teacher told us the sun is much bigger than th
7、e earth.归纳:(1)观察句1、2,当主句的谓语动词 时态时,宾语从句的谓语动词可以和主句的谓语动词时态不一致,就是说可根据实际需要用不同的时态。(2)观察句3、4,当主句中的谓语动词是 时态时,宾语从句的谓语动词要用和过去相关的时态,可以是一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时和过去完成时等。(3)观察句5、6,在“Could you tell us?”这种表示请求的疑问句中,用could比can 较为委婉客气一些,但could不表示过去时,所以宾语从句中的谓语动词时态可根据需要用 ( 不同 / 相同 ) 的时态。 (4)观察句7,如果宾语从句所叙述的是客观真理时,其谓语动词则用 时态。(
8、三)、从句部分的语序观察:Do you know where Mary lives? He asked whose dictionary this was.归纳:由连接代词(who、whose、what和which等)、连接副词(where、when、why和how)或连词if(或whether)引导的疑问句,改成宾语从句时,语序需要改变为 语序,即主谓次序不颠倒。(四)、否定的转移 例句:I dont think you are fit for the job 归纳:若主句谓语动词为think,consider,suppose,believe,expect,fancy,guess,imagi
9、ne等,其后的宾语从句若含否定意义,要把否定词转移到 谓语上,从句谓语用 形式。注意:在发生否定转移的句子中,其反意疑问句的人称及助动词应与从句的人称和动词相对应。Step3:Memory the rules( 5mins)Step4当堂训练: 1.The young man asked _ its summer or winter.
