2、ing figure in Chinese and English:1.difference in digit(位数表达的不同)2.difference in times(倍数表达的不同)3.difference in unit（单位的不同）1.数字口译的练习先从熟悉数字开始我们可以做个最简单的测试，同学们用英语以最快的速度说出自己的手机号码，再用中文说一遍，英语可以说得和中文一样快吗？如果做不到，那么说明你对于数字还不是很熟悉。要对数字熟悉，可以从读数字开始，首先你要可以用最快的速度读出数字，然后再过度到听和译。2.两位数的口译是关键很多同学在练习数字口译的时候，一开始就想练习多位数的口译，

3、这种做法是不科学的，这就好比说基础还没有打牢就要盖房子，这里房子的基础就是两位数的口译。同学们可以看下面几个数字128,one hundred and twenty eight,1234，one thousand two hundred and thirty four,不知道同学们发现没有，128的核心是twenty eight,1234的核心是thirty four,两位数的重要性是不言而喻的。同学们在练习两位数的时候，也是先要从读数字开始，用最快的速度读出两位数，然后再过度到听和译。练习完两位数之后，在过渡到年份的练习，年份就是两个两位数。3.多位数口译有了，两位数和年份练习作为基础，同学

4、们就可以口译多位数了。关于多位数的口译，第一，请同学们要熟悉一下以下两套公式。1）以汉语数字的关键记数点为出发点的公式：一万10 thousand;十万100 thousand;百万1 million 千万10 million;一亿100 million十亿1 billion百亿10 billion千亿100 billion 万亿1 trillion(2)以英语数字的关键记数点为出发点的公式 1 thousand=千；10 thousand=万 100 thousand=十万；1 million=百万；10 million=千万；100 million=亿 1 billion=十亿；10bil

5、lion=百亿 100 billion=千亿；1 trillion=万亿第二，口译多位数的时候要掌握“点三杠四”的方法请同学们译出下面听到的数字：十五亿三千九百八十七万六千三百二十一 口译的步骤如下：1.在笔记上记下：15亿3987万6321，这一把听到的都要记下来，比如这里的“亿，万”，2.从右至左按英语记数方式三位一点：1,5亿39,87万6,321，这个就叫做“点三”，大数字的口译难点就在于，汉语中是以四位为一个计数单位，而英语中则是以三位为一个计数单位。3.最后，读出英文数字 one billion five hundred thirty nigh million eight hund

6、red and seventy six thousand three hundred and twenty one下面我们倒过来，请同学们口译下面的英语数字thirty six million seven hundred twenty-four thousand six hundred and thirty-one口译的步骤如下：1.在笔记上记下：36m724th631 这个时候也是听到什么记什么，million就记下m,thousand 就记下th,2从右向左按汉语记数方式每四位一划：36m72/4th6313,最后，读出汉语数字:三千六百七十二万四千六百三十一为了简化笔记，可以在记数时用

7、表示英语的三位，这样：表示thousand,”表示 million,表示billion,“”表示 trillion。用/每四位划一下，表示汉语的万，亿，万亿/兆。如：两百三十八万四千五百听到英语记：2384500然后划成目标语汉语的：238/4500从汉到英则反向执行上述步骤。英汉关于倍数的表达有相同之处也有不同之处。这里例举几个常见的短语。as+adj.+asA be N times large as BA be N times larger than B都译为：A的大小是B的N倍。常见的中英度量衡单位的换算要了然于心。如：1 hectare=15mu=2.47acres1 feet=12
