I am greatly honored to have the chance to share my ideas about how to teach/my teaching plan of In the teaching process, I will focus on students long-term development and enable them to use proper reading skills and learning strategies

They are the analysis of the materials; identifying the teaching aims and teaching procedures.Section 1: Analysis of the teaching materialThe selected teaching materials is , the art

After analyzing it carefully, I find the articleSection 2: Identifying the teaching aimsBased on the analysis of the teaching materials, I will choose the following as the teaching aims of my lesson:The 1st aim: students wi
4、ll strengthen the skills and strategies to read efficiently.The 2nd aim: students will get a better understanding of The 3rd aim: students will be encouraged to figure out the implied meaning.The 4th aim: students will be familiar with various expressions or approaches to expressSection 3: teaching
5、proceduresIn order to achieve the teaching aims mentioned above, I decide to choose guided reading and task-based teaching as the main teaching approaches. With the teaching methods, I will guide students to use effect reading strategies to comprehend the text, solve problems and complete different
6、tasks. The teaching procedures include four parts: they are:leading-in/warming up/getting ready; pre-reading; while-reading and post reading.Part 1: getting readyIts important to activate students existing background knowledge and draw their attention to the topic of the text. In this part, I will u
7、se the pre-reading activities to increase students concentration, arouse their curiosity, fire their imagination and give them the purpose of reading. This part consists of two tasks:Task 1: With the task, I inspire students previous knowledge and imagination about, which can draw their attention to
8、 the theme of the reading materials and get them ready for the following reading activities.Task2: brainstorming. In This task , I will show them some pics of This task will excite students desire to know more about, with the question in mind, students will definitely be eager to listen to the tape/
9、to read the passage to find the answer.Part2. Pre-reading:During this part, I will asks the students to answer the following questions. Students are supposed to get the main idea of the text.
