4、s on the component side of the memory board with the screws and washers provided.1.First,back up all programs,parameters,Tool Offset data,etc.2.Power off the control and remove QX524/QX521 board.The new memory is to be installed on this board.If there is a memory board already installed on it,remove

5、 it and replace it with the Memex board,using the screws and washers provided.3.On the QX141 board set switches 1 and 3 ON(To the right.)4.Power the control ON and wait for the 2 green LEDs below the switches to go ON.5.Power OFF,reset the switches 1 and 3 to the left then power ON again.6.Press the

6、n press PLC I/F soft key.Set device=1001,cursor right twice to Mode and press M then press.7.Press 8.If BASE soft key is not in view,press MENU soft key until it appears,then press BASE soft key 9.Press the right arrow soft key until item 38 appears(screen 4 out of 7 on our control).10.Press 38 at#a

7、nd 1 at Data then press 11.Press then press ERASE soft key,cursor right and key in“FORMAT”then.12.Answer the question ERASE Y/N?by keying Y and then.13.After a few seconds the screen will display“ERASE COMPLETE”14.Go to DATA INPUT screen and key 4 next to the#sign,then press.When all of the fixed cy

9、ation_Manual.doc To set memory size:i.Press then the PLC I/F soft key.ii.Key in 758,cursor right twice and key in S then.iii.Press then MENU soft key to get OPTION.iv.Change#41(PROSIZ)to 5000.This is the number of meters in 2MB.v.Power OFF then ON again for the change to take effect.vi.Press to display the remaining character spaces.This should be approx.1.9 million.To set up I/O parameters:i.Press ii.Press PARAM.iii.Press right arrow soft key to 2 of 5.iv.Enter Device=1,Baud=1,Stop=1,Parity=1,Even=1,Character length=2,Handshake=3(Xon/Xoff)
